Is the waltz an artistic "work" or rather functional music? For the feet or for the ears? Or perhaps for the octopuses? But can octopuses even dance the waltz? Their neurons are distributed throughout their entire body, making it impossible to distinguish between brain and body. Who dances how? And with whom? These questions are at the heart of this waltz. In a process of translation, the embodied knowledge of octopuses is filtered into the Viennese waltz, making it comprehensible for human bodies.
A tentacular dance training for a collective organism that continuously expands its abilities and questions societal structures.
