At sunset
On an early-summer evening just before the sun goes down, you can join us in Vienna’s Stadtpark to sing some of Johann Strauss’ loveliest works. We shall be meeting near the statue of the Danube Mermaid immortalised by Strauss in his waltz op. 427. Local mythology has it that the nymph lured young men to their deaths in the depths of the river! Together with professional singers, you can sing this gem and many other Strauss favourites as part of an ad-hoc choir. Guaranteed no auditions, so don’t be shy!
