Following his biodiversity show, Dominik Eulberg transforms Hall E into a techno club.
At the time Strauss' operetta was written, bats, like us humans, found completely different habitats: Fueled by the waltz, in which not only women and men, but also social classes and people in and from all over the world could come closer together, a model of society was lived that we today call liberal and diverse. On the one hand, the liberal social values that have been fought for since then are being pushed back again by some forces, while on the other hand, anthropocentric hubris and its ideology of growth and progress are now falling on our heads, both socially and ecologically. In order to shine the light of a new utopia into the dark side of these developments, the festival has invited the internationally outstanding techno producer, DJ, ecologist, multi-award-winning author and biodiversity ambassador Dominik Eulberg to stage a new multimedia and transdisciplinary show on the subject of biodiversity between then and now, as well as a techno club. Biodiversity versus monoculture, socially and ecologically!
