Born 1993 in Vienna. 2008-2012 preliminary studies in classical percussion at the “Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität”. 2013-2016 Diploma studies with full scholarship in Jazz Composition and Vibraphone at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA (graduated Summa Cum Laude). 2018-2021 Bachelor's & Master's degree in Jazz Composition & Arrangement at the “Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität” in Vienna. Over 260 works in various idioms and instrumentations from solo to string quartet to big band and orchestra. Director of his own ensembles Tobias Meissl Trio - CD: Mr. Resolved (2024 on Unit Records), TM Quartettt, TM Sextet, TeMTeT and TeaM TaMe - currently mainly active as a trio and soloist.
