Superar

The non-profit organization Superar offers free, high-quality musical education for children and young people regardless of their mother tongue, religion, or socio-economic background. Through group music-making, Superar promotes personal development, concentration, creativity, and teamwork. Regular public performances, such as those at the Wiener Konzerthaus, provide valuable experiences. International networking and collaboration with major cultural institutions help overcome social, cultural, and religious barriers and foster a sense of community.
Founded in 2009 by the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Vienna Boys' Choir, and Caritas of the Archdiocese of Vienna, Superar now collaborates with over 21 schools in Vienna, Lower Austria, Salzburg, Vorarlberg, and Styria, reaching around 2,000 children in Austria. Overall, 4,000 children participate in Superar's programs across seven European countries, including Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, and Germany.
