The son of a British opera singer and an Austrian director was appointed “Bayerischer Kammersänger” in 2023. He completed his training at the Vienna Conservatory and with KS Wicus Slabbert. His wide-ranging repertoire includes numerous leading roles in opera (“Die Entführung aus dem Serail”, “Fidelio”, “Der fliegende Holländer”), operetta (“Die lustige Witwe”, “Die Fledermaus”, “Der Vogelhändler”, “Gräfin Mariza”, “Der Vetter aus Dingsda”, “Der Opernball”, “Frau Luna”, “Pariser Leben“, ‘Die Zirkusprinzessin’, ‘Wiener Blut’, ‘Viktoria und ihr Husar’, ‘Die Faschingsfee’, ‘Die Großherzogin von Gerolstein’), classic musicals (”Les Misérables”, ‘West Side Story’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘Singinʼ in the Rain’, ‘Show Boat’, ‘Evita’, ‘Sweeney Todd’, ”Hello, Dolly! ”, “The Man of La Mancha”, “The Smile of a Summer Night”) and drama (“Romeo and Juliet”, “Bouncers”, “Der Reigen”) at the Opéra National de Strasbourg, Volksoper Wien, Oper Graz, Komische Oper Berlin, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Stadttheater Klagenfurt, London's Royal Festival Hall, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Semperoper Dresden. He interpreted the title roles in the world premieres of the operas “Koukourgi” (Luigi Cherubini), “Liliom” and “Schubert's Journey to Atzenbrugg” (Johanna Doderer). He has been a regular guest at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz since 2001.
