Growing up in Los Angeles and on film sets, I've been taking photos or teaching photography since I was 16. My first job was with director Robert Altman, who told me to "shoot it like you see it," and that's been my mantra ever since. I've got a quirky way of seeing the world, and it's the unposed, candid moments that make me happiest. I'm not particular about who or what I shoot - theater, street, weddings, portraits, travel, as long as I can tell a story.
Along with photography, I act, and won the Nestroy Prize with the Nesterval immersive theater ensemble. For my writing, I was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. I live and work in Vienna, always seeking stories in every frame and performance.
