
Born in Linz in 1975, she grew up there, traveled extensively, and now lives with her husband and son in Vienna’s Meidling district. She studied Modern Dance Education at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna as well as German and Hispanic Philology at the University of Vienna, the Universitat Autònoma in Barcelona, and UNAM in Mexico City. Influential teachers in the fields of dance and performance for her include Kira Kirsch (Axis Syllabus), Andrew L. Harwood (Contact Improvisation), Cora Flores (Contemporary Dance, Mexico City), Philippe Riéra (Performance), Tristan Jorde (Acting), Andrew Morrish (Solo Performance), and John Britton (Ensemble Improvisation).
In 2003, she co-founded the schallundrauch agency with Gabriele Wappel, where she works in artistic and organizational management, concept development, directing, performance, and workshops. She directed the early childhood trilogy “Ball, Baum, Taube” (1.5+), “Giraffen summen” (6–15 months), and “Große Sachen” (3+), as well as “Original” (8+), “Waldrapp” (4+), and “Platz da!” (7+). Most recently, she appeared on stage in “Björn ohne Bretter” (6+/14+), “Parole Haifisch” (6+), “Esel” (12+), and “Platz da!” (7+).
