Martina Eisenreich studied classical composition at the University of Music in Munich. Her career began with the score for the feature film Reine Geschmacksache, and several of her projects were nominated for and honored with the Student Academy Award in Los Angeles. In 2020, she received both the German Television Academy Award and a double nomination for the German Television Award within the same season. Previously, she was the first woman to win the German Film Music Prize for her symphony written for the Tatort episode Waldlust, filmed by opera and film director Axel Ranisch. She went on to compose the music for Ranisch’s opera-film Orphea in Love, which won the Grand Prix at Golden Prague in 2023.

Her recent works include the political thriller series Herrhausen, recorded with countertenor Andreas Scholl and the B’Rock Orchestra in Belgium, as well as the ORF co-production Bach – A Christmas Miracle, recorded with the Thomanerchor Leipzig and the Czech Ensemble Baroque. In 2024, she received the German Film Music Prize for the second time, for the international series One Trillion Dollars (Lakeshore Records, USA 2024).
